In its eight years time Facebook has not taken much trouble with changes in it logo except for the shades and resolution of the logo, and has maintained the same brand image of giving people the power to share and allowing them to be more open and connected.
Shape of the Facebook Logo:
The shape of the Facebook logo is a simple rectangle occupying the network’s name.
Color of the Facebook Logo:

Speculation was rife about who would be awarded this years time magazine person of the yr with many suggesting the controversial Wikileaks founder Julian Assange would get it. In a move that divides opinion slightly less it was awarded to Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
The person with the most friends in the world and also the world’s youngest billionaire is no stranger to fame. Earlier this year the history of Facebook was depicted in the box office hit the social netwark. This movie depicted the tech genius as a social outcast who resorted to hacking in an attempt to get girls and is a forerunner for Best Picture at the Oscars.
Despite his obvious success opinion has been strongly divided across the web. This is in part due to many people feeling that the most popular candidate in the magazines own poll, Julian Assange, was deliberately not awarded to avoid criticism from the USA and many other prominent figures around the world. The Whitehouse has already pressured many American companies into cuting their ties with Wikileaks so maybe Time can be forgiven for being cautious. Other points of complaint across the web include the many privacy issues Facebook has been involved in but despite this the year of 2010 has seen the social networking site come to a real prominence due to its integration across the web.
Zuckerberg will be joining a small minority of tech based winner of this award with previous winners including the Personal Computer, the YouTube generation and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Whether you love or loathe his creation it is hard to question his success but whether or not he is deserving of this prestigious award is a question that will rage across the web for weeks to come.

The name of the service stems from the colloquial name for the book given to students at the start of the academic year by university administrations in the United States to help students get to know each other better. A January 2009 compete.com study ranked Facebook as the most used social networking service by worldwide monthly active users, followed by my space . Entertaiment weekly put it on its end-of-the-decade "best-of" list, saying, "How on earth did we stalk our exes, remember our co-workers' birthdays, bug our friends, and play a rousing game of Scrabulous before Facebook?
